Modules of Double Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger

ASTEPO constructs single (S.S.R.) and double (D.S.R.) scraped surface heat exchangers with high thermal exchange for the heating/cooling of liquids and viscous products or products with particulates. D.S.R. is particularly suitable for citrus fruit concentrates, bechamel sauces type, ragouts, pesto sauce, baby foods, custard, puddings etc. This exchanger allows the product to be brought to the desired temperature in an extremely short time, thanks to the heating fluid (steam) flowing in two jackets (inner and outer) coaxial with the product flow, guaranteeing the integrity of the product, and avoiding the alteration of the organoleptic properties. This exchanger allows to obtain UHT treatment and therefore to process products with neutral pH like carrot purée and/or white products like banana. Our deep background in these applications brought us to project and construct plants approved also by FDA too.
