Modular Single Scraped Surface Heat Exchanger
ASTEPO constructs single (S.S.R.) and double (D.S.R.) scraped surface heat exchangers with high thermal exchange for the heating/cooling of liquids and viscous products or products with particulates. This exchanger allows the product to be brought to the desired temperature in an extremely short time, guaranteeing the integrity of the product, avoiding the alteration of the organoleptic properties and reducing the "fouling" effect in viscous products.
The vertical assembly allows the installation of a single mechanical seal and guarantees: |
- minimum space
- better balancing of the rotating parts
- longer duration of the mechanical seal
- optimum thermal exchange, in countercurrent, between the product and the service fluid
- fast and easy maintenance

The coaxial pipe and the infeed from the bottom allow a homogeneous and constant product flow. Motorization is variable speed type.
The construction is modular and therefore it is easily adaptable to any productive requirement.
Parts in contact with the product are in stainles steel AISI 316.
Principally studied as sterilizer for aseptic treatment and packing lines, the S.S.R. modular heat exchangers are equipped with all protections required by a such systems.
